Stephen C. Arnold is a science teacher with the Fort Smith Pubic Schools, serving at Chaffin Junior High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia. Arnold also attended the University of Texas at Dallas and earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Arkansas Tech University. While serving as a captain in the United States Air Force, he received the Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, and Company Grade Officer of the Quarter. He served as the vice president of the Company Grade Officers’ Council. In Allen, Texas, Arnold served as a delegation leader for People to People and received the Bell Ringer Award from the Allen Independent School District. Arnold is a member of Phi Delta Kappa, the Association for Supervision, Curriculum and Development, the United Way Young Leadership Group, and Grace Community Church, where he serves as a youth ministry volunteer. He has also served on the Boys’ Shelter board of advisors.
Brad Arterbury is the vice president of Littlefield Oil Company . He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Arkansas Tech University and has attended the Petroleum Marketers Leadership Institute. He is a member of the Arkansas Oil Marketers Association and the Oklahoma Petroleum Marketers Association. Arterbury is a member of Grace Community Church, where he serves on the finance committee. He is also a United Way volunteer.
Travis R. Bartlett is an associate principal/project architect for MAHG Architecture Inc., and is licensed by the Arkansas State Board of Architects. He attended the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith and earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville. He completed his international study at the Urban Design Studio, Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City. Bartlett is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and served as a board member and on the convention committee for the Arkansas chapter of the AIA. He is also a member of the Fort Smith section of the AIA, having served as the program director and section chair. Bartlett is a member of the Arkansas chapter of the American Planning Association. He has served on the Greenwood Planning Commission. Bartlett has volunteered as a speaker for the Partners in Education Career Day, and is a volunteer fundraiser for the Sparks Guild, Evening for Sparks. He is also an assistant coach for Fort Smith Church League Baseball and for the Upward Basketball League of the First Baptist Church of Greenwood. He is a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where he serves as the finance committee chair, a member of the buildings and grounds committee, and as a Vacation Bible School volunteer. Bartlett and his family reside in Greenwood, Arkansas.
Bryan Clardy, M.D. is the assistant professor of family and community medicine at the Area Health Education Center (AHEC), University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, Family Medical Center - Fort Smith. He is also the chief executive officer and owner of River Valley Pediatrics, LLC. Clardy attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, earning bachelor’s degrees in both biology and chemistry. He earned a doctorate of medicine from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Clardy is serving as the Western Arkansas River Valley Medical Reserve Corp unit commander and as the Sebastian County health officer. For his outstanding service at Fort Chaffee during Hurricane Katrina, Clardy received recognition from the Arkansas Medical Society, a letter of recognition from the adjunct general of Arkansas, and Recognition Award in 2006 from the American Medical Association. He also received a certificate of congressional recognition from the Salvation Army and Recognition for Service - Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita. He is a member of Goddard United Methodist Church. Clardy is also a member of the Western Arkansas Wind Symphony and Goddard Gathering Guitarists.
Dana Thompson Craig serves as community relations coordinator for Oklahoma Gas and Electric (OG&E). She attended University of Arkansas - Fort Smith and Arkansas Tech University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business education from University of Arkansas - Fayetteville. She is the secretary/treasurer for the Kappa Alpha Theta Alumni Club. Craig has served on the board of the Mount Magazine Girl Scout Council and was honored as a Woman of Distinction in 2006 by the Girl Scouts. Craig was a founding member of the Fort Smith Community Dental Clinic, and she was a member of the Bonneville House board of directors. She is currently the secretary/treasurer of the PTA at Southside. She is serving on the Fort Smith Public Schools Partners in Education advisory board and a liaison for OG&E to Partners in Education - Cavanaugh Elementary School. She is a member of the Arkansas Scholars Board and the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce, having chaired the education committee and the community affairs committee. Craig is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Fort Smith. She serves on the board of directors of the Community Clearinghouse, and the Inter Services Agency of Poteau. She is a member of the Arkansas Business and Education Alliance state board. Craig also serves on the board of directors of Girls, Inc.
Katie I. Cravens is an executive assistant for Williams/Crawford and Associates. Cravens has attended the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith and the Second Wind Account Executives School. She is a member of the Fort Smith Jaycees, the Fort Smith Rotary Club, the Salvation Army and the Junior League of Fort Smith. In 2006, Cravens raised the most money for the Polar Bear Plunge, a fundraising event for Special Olympics. Cravens serves as a member of the board of directors of the Bonneville House. She is a volunteer with the Fort Smith Public Schools Partners in Education and a graduate of Leadership Crawford County. Cravens is a member of First Presbyterian Church, where she volunteers as a youth counselor.
Anne R. Dunn is the assistant vice president and branch manager for First National Bank. She attended the University of Central Arkansas and the Southwest Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. Dunn serves on the board of Abilities Unlimited, and has served on various United Way committees, including the retail banking division of the campaign. Dunn is a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church parish council and a committee member of the Trinity Junior High School Winter Time Blues event.
Jack W. Dunn is the director of facilities management and travel for Golden Ventures, Inc. Dunn attended the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. He is a volunteer for the American Red Cross and a member of the Fort Smith City Hall Task Force. Dunn was the co-chairman for the Hartford High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He was a member of the Midland First Baptist Church, serving on the buildings committee and as a teacher and song director. Dunn is a member of Victory Temple church, where he serves as a Sunday school teacher.
Stephanie A. Harper Easterling is an attorney for the firm of Warner, Smith and Harris, PLC. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville. She was honored in 1999 as the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith Social Sciences Student of the Year and was a finalist in the 02-03 Arkansas Bar Association Vincent W. Foster Scholarship. She previously served as the newsletter editor for the Euper Lane PTA. Harper Easterling is a member of the Fort Smith Rotary Club, and the Junior League of Fort Smith. She is also a board member of the Good Samaritan Clinic, a member of the Sebastian County Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Association.
Heidi Falconer is a nurse practitioner, specializing in pediatric critical care. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in nursing, both from Vanderbilt University. Falconer is a former member of the Junior League of Nashville, Tennessee. She is the past chairman of education/training and the current membership vice president for the Junior League of Fort Smith. Falconer was one of the Fort Smith delegates selected to attend the Junior League Organizational Development Institute in Houston, Texas. She served as a volunteer for the Friends of Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital. Falconer is also a member of the board of directors for the Western Arkansas Ballet and serves as the recording secretary. She is the risk management advisor for the Alpha Omicron Pi Alumni, and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where she serves as a parish nursing volunteer.
Susan K. Fox serves as the principal of North Main Intermediate School in Greenwood, Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith and earned both a bachelor’s degree in elementary education/special education and a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville. Fox was selected as the Outstanding Senior in the College of Education in 1983. Fox attended the Arkansas Leadership Academy and is a former member of the Council of Exceptional Children and Arkansas Association of Middle Level Educators. She is a member of the Arkansas Association of Educational administrators, the Arkansas Association of Elementary School Principals, the Arkansas Association of School Business Officials, and a board member of the Arkansas Music Educators Association. Fox has served on the Greenwood Chamber of Commerce board as secretary, and served as a volunteer for the St. Jude Math-a-thon. She is a team member/organizer for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. Fox is a charter member of the Greenwood Rotary Club and a member of the Cavanaugh Free Will Baptist Church. She and her family live in Greenwood, Arkansas.
Samantha C. Hall Ed.D. is the assistant principal at Darby Junior High School. She earned bachelor’s degrees in math and French, a master’s degree in secondary education, and a doctorate in educational administration all from the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville. She was the recipient of the Roy B. Allen Scholarship in Educational Leadership in 2000 and the Edyth May Sliffe Award in Excellence in Teaching in 1999. Hall has served as both the vice president and president of the Young Women’s Community Guild. She was a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and is currently a member of the American Association of Educational Administrators, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Phi Delta Kappa, and PTS. She is a former member of the content validation committee for the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards. She is a past member of Arkansas Teacher Institute, the NFISA, and the AACCA.
Don A. Heard, Ed.D. is the administrative officer for the Area Health Education Center (AHEC), University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, Family Medical Center - Fort Smith. He completed an associate degree in business from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting, an MBA, and a doctorate in education from the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville. Heard earned membership in the Beta Alpha Psi National Accounting Honor Society. He is also an adjunct faculty member for John Brown University and was elected to Alpha Sigma Lambda in 2002. Heard is a member of First Lutheran Church, serving as a member of the board of elders.
William E. Hollenbeck serves as the captain of the detective division of the Sebastian County Sheriff Department. Hollenbeck attended the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith, the Dallas Police Academy, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy. He earned a bachelor’s degree in organizational management from John Brown University. Hollenbeck serves as the team leader for the Sebastian County SWAT team. He is a member of the Fort Smith Rotary Club, the Knights of Columbus, and St. Boniface Catholic Church. He is the vice president of the Fraternal Order of Police. Hollenbeck is a former board member of the Boys and Girls Club. He has served as a volunteer with Special Olympics, Shop With A Cop, and at the St. Boniface School.
Deana A. Infield is a Certified Public Accountant and a partner with Beall, Barclay and Company, PLC. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Arkansas Tech University. Infield is a member of the Fort Smith Business and Professional Women. She has served as the treasurer, the vice-president, and the president of the Western Arkansas chapter of the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Infield has served as a member of the U.S. Marshal’s Museum Steering Committee. She is a member of the Grace Community Church, where she serves as a member of the Lay Leadership Team and as the treasurer of the Grace Place weekday school.
Travis W. Lea is a financial advisor and franchise owner of Ameriprise Financial. He earned an associate degree from Carl Albert State College and attended the University of Oklahoma. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. Lea is a volunteer with the Fort Smith Public Schools Partners in Education program and with the Fort Smith Classic as the Merchants Village chairman. He has served as the Expo Building superintendent for the Arkansas Oklahoma State Fair. Lea is also an active board member of Girls Incorporated of Fort Smith.
Dusti Miller is an attorney with the firm of Pryor, Robertson and Barry, PLC. She holds both a bachelor’s degree in government and a bachelor’s in public relations from the University of Texas, in Austin, Texas. Miller earned a master’s degree in public administration and a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville. Miller is a member of the Junior League of Fort Smith and has served as member of the U.S. Marshal’s Museum Steering Committee. She is a board member of the Child Enrichment Center of the First United Methodist Church.
Nora P. Molinero serves the Fort Smith Public Schools as a social worker. She earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from the University of Texas Pan American, in Edinburg, Texas. Molinero serves on the board of directors of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). She is a volunteer social worker in the Fort Smith Hispanic community and serves as a volunteer for Women Together.
John T. Post, Ph.D. is the chief executive officer of Post Familie Vineyards and Winery. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville, where he graduated cum laude. Post earned a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering from George Washington University and a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas. He is a member of the Aeronautical Society of America, the Audio Engineering Society, and the Engineering Advisory Board at Arkansas Tech University. He is a legislative liaison for the Arkansas Wine Industry and a member of the Family Enterprise Center board at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith. She holds bachelor’s degrees in business administration and economics, and a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas -Fayetteville, where she graduated magna cum laude. A member of the Arkansas Law Alumni Association and the University of Arkansas Alumni Association, she is the former managing editor of the Arkansas Law Review. Randall served as a volunteer of VOCALS of Little Rock and the Take Time to Give Program. She also served on the board of directors of the American Lung Association of Arkansas as board secretary. Randall is a board member of the Bonneville House, special events chair of the Junior League of Fort Smith, and a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Maricela H. Rivera is a pricing analyst for Rheem Manufacturing. She holds an associate degree in business from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith, and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Arkansas - Little Rock. She has served as a United Way volunteer and as the chairperson of the Rheem employee campaign. Rivera is a Boy Scout den leader and the vice president of the Christ the King School Parent Teacher Organization. She serves as a translator for Partners in Education and as an assistant coach for the Western Arkansas Soccer Association. She is a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.
Joe D. Ryan is senior vice president of loans for Citizen’s Bank and Trust Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northeastern State University. Ryan is a board member of the Van Buren Lion’s Club. He received the Melvin Jones Fellow Lion of the Year award in 2000. Ryan is an ambassador for the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce, a trustee of Eastside Freewill Baptist Church, and a volunteer baseball coach. He is also a graduate of Leadership Crawford County. He and his family reside in Van Buren.
Polly A. Shoemake is vice president of Patient Care Services and chief nursing officer for St. Edward Mercy Medical Center. She holds an associate degree in both business administration and nursing from Eastern Oklahoma State College. She earned both a bachelor’s degree in organizational management and a MBA from John Brown University. Shoemake also holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Bacone College. She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, Oklahoma Organization of Nurse Executives, and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is a board member of the American Heart Association and the campaign chairman for the March of Dimes.
Daniel Shue serves as the chief deputy prosecuting attorney for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit. Shue earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas - Fayetteville. Shue has served as a member of the Arson Task Force. He is a member of the Civil War Roundtable and a member of the Sebastian County republican party. A board member of Cavanaugh Freewill Baptist Church and a volunteer for the Children’s Wee Worship, Shue and his family live in Greenwood.
